"Miracle of Dunkirk", Excellent day, couldn't be any better. As before, the quality of the information and presentation was superb. The overview was brilliant and really set the scene so that we had a far better understanding of the miracle of the withdrawal from Dunkirk and the amazing feats carried out in terrible conditions, by all involved.

'I must record the appreciation of the Club for the magnificent way in which you arranged this tour especially for us. Your outstanding and detailed knowledge of the strategy of the battle, the topography of the ground, the characters and techniques involved; which together with your superb ability to present it in a riveting way will leave us a lasting and most favourable memory.  Everything we asked you to do was done. We were delighted with your response to our requirement for a very comfortable coach and driver. We appreciated your care for our less active members such as accommodating their pace and lending one of them your own jersey when he forgot his. Also, we appreciated too the little extras, such as the unscheduled coffee break you gave us, the private viewing of La Haie Sainte, interceding with the hotel when one of the meals was not quite as one would expect from a 4–star establishment: and then of course, there was the surprise attack from the Imperial Guard! Our members appreciated and enjoyed too the contribution by Anne Grimshaw, with her story of "Weaver to Waterloo" and her conversations about the times. We are very grateful to you Graeme.

Fantastic.. Graeme brought to life the emotions and experiences of Billy's' time at the front line, his enthusiasm and passion for the subject switched the trip from being just a history lesson to being a very memorable experience. Amazing… Although now I cry whenever I see a war documentary on tv!

The subject was exceedingly well presented and the itinerary very well thought out.
