9-10 May:  Contrasting Battlefields - Agincourt & Dunkirk. Where a medieval English King in 1415 delivered against the odds and the Miracle of Dunkirk in 1940 where pending disaster turned into deliverance of a different kind and the saving of the British Army. The retreat, the massacre and the aftermath on both fields of conflict that shaped European history.  Ref: cwt 09-1

21-26 May: Salamanca, Fuentes de Onoro & Ciudad Rodrigo: Wellington’s epic battles of the Peninsular campaign and the siege of the northern most of the ‘Keys of Spain’. Ref: cwt 09-2

11-15 Jun: D-Day Normandy Landings 1944: The momentous events of the 6th June 1944.  Pegasus Bridge, St Mere Eglise, Arromanches, and the five assault beaches of Sword, Juno, Gold, Utah and ‘Bloody’ Omaha.  Ref: cwt 09-3

25-29 Jun: Waterloo Campaign Battlefields 1815 Ligny, Quatre Bras, Wavre & Waterloo: Napoleon’s last Victory at Ligny and Quatre Bras where Wellington did not choose the ground.  A fascinating tour off the beaten track.  The Way of the Prussians’ to the ‘Sound of the Guns', at Waterloo, the most intensive battlefield of them all. Includes Wellington’s Brussels by Night. Ref: cwt 09-4

10-13 July: Napoleon’s Waterloo 1815An in depth look at the battle, the ground, the outcomes and the men who fought it.  Ref: cwt 09-5
